This past weekend B and I had a staycation at the Texican Court in Las Colinas, TX (about a 30 minute drive from our house in Garland). It was long over due that we get away just the two of us to reconnect. Between, our apartment fire, moving, and me being sick, we needed some time together. We love a good staycation, it’s a nice way to get away and explore a new part of the city. Texican Court is a newer luxury hotel in the Dallas area. It is located right in the heart of the Irving Entertainment District and it is about a 16 minute drive from the hotel to Downtown Dallas.
This is definitely the cutest hotel that I’ve stayed at in a while! Everything about this hotel is dreamy, from the hot pink hotel room doors to the Mexican style décor, it really makes you feel like you are staying at a beach villa resort instead of in the middle of Dallas.
After we checked in, we strolled around the property to look around. There are a ton of cute spots for photos, as well as Two Mules Cantina and Salt Tequila Bar. We didn’t end up eating dinner at the property, just brunch on Sunday morning. It was really good food too!
The pool was definitely where we hung out for the majority of the time we were there. It was so hot on Saturday, we almost had to be either in the pool or hotel room. Speaking of hotel room — the room we stayed in was super cute. All the décor was just so perfect! I kept telling B that they really did do a good job of designing this hotel. It’s a bloggers dream.
It was such a fun little staycation for the weekend. I highly recommend checking out this hotel as your next stay. We enjoyed ourselves so much, that we didn’t want to leave. We will be back soon!
