Dear 2020,

I can confidently say this year has been one of the hardest for a lot of reasons. I started off the year by breaking my arm and wrist in a horrible car accident. That happened to be right around the same time the pandemic was heating up. Brian and I struggled to find our new routines through the state being shut down and him having to help me do literally everything for the first half of the year. And then on top of that we started working at home. I have always thought I’d love working from home, but it was an adjustment to find a new routine that I loved.

I am genuinely a positive person. I will always be the one to look on the bright side of things and help bring the light in a heavy situation. But, this year I struggled to even do that. I felt alone, like many of you out there. It was definitely hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel when it came to the pandemic. However, I am starting to feel a little weight lifted off my shoulders knowing that we are almost done with 2020.

I don’t know about you, but I am ready for 2021. Ready for a new beginning, to start over, to hopefully have a brighter year ahead. We have lots to look forward to this year. One of my close friends, Jac, is getting married and we have a couple of trips planned. I am excited to see what 2021 holds for us!

In light of keeping things positive around here, I wanted to share some of my best memories of this year.

BEST MEMORIES OF 2020:

  1. Brian and I took our first trip of the year to Eureka Springs, Arkansas in August. It was such a fun getaway for the both of us.
  2. My arm and wrist are fully healed and mostly back to normal!
  3. We took a week and half road trip to Colorado to visit our families in October.
  4. I took a long over due girls trip back to Eureka Springs, Arkansas in November. We saw all the leaves changing. It was magical!

I’d love to know what some of your favorite memories of the year have been. It can be anything!! Finding the joy in the little things is hard sometimes, but once you stop and think about it, those small little moments add up!

xo, Nataly
