The Fall Transition

Can you believe that we are almost to Fall?! Well, if you live in Texas most likely you still have a couple more months of heat before the weather starts to cool off. I have been struggling to buy fall clothes because I just can’t get into it yet!! I am just not ready to say goodbye to Summer! But, even with my reluctance I did my best to style a couple of transitional outfits for you all! Chicwish kindly sent over a couple of items that I think would make great pieces for your Fall closet.

If you haven’t heard of Chicwish before, don’t worry, I discovered them right at the beginning of my blogging career. I stumbled upon their site and fell in love. I have been buying things from their site here and there over the years. All the quality on their pieces is top notch. I haven’t received a piece from them that I wasn’t impressed with. And they have so many items to chose from. I highly recommend checking out there items if you haven’t yet.

This first look is probably going to be my go-to look right now. This fun little polka dot red top is just too cute and I love the tie detail. I have been gravitating towards this color red lately. I paired it with a classic pair of skinny jeans and my new favorite kitten heels.

The second look is a lot more dressed up, but still such a great look for Fall. All you need to do is add your favorite denim or moto jacket on top to complete the look. The cut of this skirt is what made me pick it. It is unlike any piece that I have in my closet. I have a feeling I will be wearing it a lot for both work and play.

    1. hahahaha – I think if the weather was a little bit cooler I would be more excited to dress for Fall! It’s just still too hot here.

  1. Girl, you know I’m already a massive fan of Chicwish. They’ve really got all the best styles. I absolutely LOVE that first outfit. It screams “early autumn” to me, and the fits of everything are so flattering. These ensembles are fabulous!
