Beauty Buys .07

It’s that time of the month again (no not that one!)…where I review my favorite beauty products from the past month. This month I have quite a few products to share. As always, I share my honest review of each product, regardless of if it was gifted to me or I purchased it with my own money.

Pixi Eye Reflection Shadow Palette Natural & Light – $24.00

I was so excited to receive these products in the mail from Pixi. They were kind enough to send them along for me to try. I haven’t tried anything from Pixi. The shadows are pigmented and there is such a huge variety of shades to chose from in each palette. You can pretty much create any eye look with just this one palette.

Rimmel Wonder Swipe 2-in-1 Liner to Shadow – $7.00

I have been experimenting with these liquid liners since I received them in the mail. They would be so fun for special event makeup or if you just feel like having a gold wing liner look…which seems to be popular right now. The colors (shown above) are vibrant and don’t smudge after application.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Wow Wings Mascara – $5.97

This mascara isn’t as good as the one I reviewed a couple of weeks ago in Beauty Buys .06. However, it is still a great option for a more natural look. I have been wearing it to work and really love the natural look it gives.

Maybelline Total Temptation Eyebrow Definer Pencil – $7.99

I was in the market for a new brow pencil and decided to pick a drug store option this time. I reviewed the Benefit one last month. This pencil came highly recommended by a friend of mine. So, I gave it a shot. I have to say it is one of the best brow pencils I’ve tried in a while. Yes, I do love the Benefit one, but I think this one, dare I say, might be better. I love the formula and it is easy to blend into my brows. They have a great color selection too. I went for the medium brown shade and it matches perfectly.

Orlane Caffeine Superdose – $65.00

I am totally new to using caffeine in my skincare, so I did a little research before I decided to incorporate this product into my routine. Caffeine helps reduce inflammatory properties in skin…including reducing redness and puffiness. I have a little bit of redness in my skin already, so I was really excited that this would help combat that issue. It is also supposed to help flush out toxins in the body.

I add 2-3 drops of this into my moisturizer both day and night. So far, it has helped reduce any redness I have in my skin as well as help with puffiness in the morning.

M-61 Power Glow Peel – $28.00

This glow peel is my new favorite skincare item right now. I have been using it 3 times a week. It leaves my skin glowing the next day!

Makeup Travel Bag – $19.99

Since, we are talking makeup and skincare I also wanted to share this travel bag with you all. I first spotted this on Anna’s (Blushing Rose Style) Instagram page. I immediately snagged it because I knew it would be perfect for traveling. It has dividers, can fit all my products (shown above) and you can carry your brushes too. I have been looking for something like this for a while and I glad I finally found it. I highly recommend this bag if you like to travel and love to be organized too!
