Let me start this post saying I didn’t think I would be a fan of the teddy coat. While they look cute on everyone else, I just didn’t think this was the trend for me. Boy…was I wrong! I went to an event a couple of weeks ago with some friends and a good majority of the girls there were wearing some sort of teddy or fluffy coat. I immediately knew why everyone was loving them. They looked so cozy! After that, the hunt was on to find a relatively inexpensive, but good quality teddy coat.
I bought 2 from Nordstrom Rack with the intention of only keeping one…which I actually did…usually I buy 2 similar pieces and then end up keeping them both. The one is today’s post was the winner for me. I love the dusty rose color. It is advertised as more of a brown or tan color, but in person it is more dusty rose to me. I paired it with a simple white tee from Loft and grey jeans. I would totally wear this look for date night, which I might actually do this weekend. Brian kindly said “you look like a turd in that coat”…men…they don’t quite understand fashion! LOL
So, I want to know…Are you loving the Teddy Coats or do you wish they would go away?

I think I feel the same about teddy coats that you did – they’re not really for me. I think you look fabulous in it and it certainly looks so cozy and chic but it’s not my aesthetic. That said, I LOVE the color of yours and if any teddy coat would convince me to buy one, it would be the one you’re wearing here!
