Happy Monday! It is that time of year, when you get invited to all the holiday parties. And then you start your never ending search for the perfect outfit. We have all been there and I am here to help! Today, I am sharing some ideas what to wear and things to consider when buying your outfit this year. Whether, you are attending your annual office party, hanging out with your family/friends, or attending a formal event I have got you covered.
Which type of party are you shopping for this year?
OFFICE PARTY
I always struggle finding the right outfit for an office party. You want to be professional, but also look really cute, without being too cute…you know what I mean? I think this sweater and skirt combination is the perfect mix of professional and cute. I found both pieces at Target and I am loving the way this whole outfit came together. I would totally wear tights with this too if the weather was too cold for bare legs.

FAMILY / HOUSE PARTY
Usually, we have a couple of family get togethers every year to celebrate the holidays. We also have a house party with some of our friends that come in from out of town. They are usually secret santa or gift exchange parties — which tends to be really casual. My favorite look as of late that would be perfect for a house party is this chenille cardigan and cami combo. This look screams holiday party to me without being too dressed up.
We even sometimes do matching pjs or ugly Christmas sweaters. All of which you can easily find online or I have seen some at my local Target and Walmart.

FORMAL PARTY
Sequins are always a home run for a formal or fancy occasion. My sequin jacket is several years old, but I keep pulling it out because it is too perfect for the holidays. It is also a great idea for NYE. I have worn this jacket with both dresses and jeans alike. Honestly, you can go wrong with sequins. I have linked several similar jacket options for you all below. All of which are under $200. I think investing in a good sequin number whether it be a jacket or dress is a good idea. They will never go out of style for the holidays.
You also can’t forget about jewelry. My pretty ring combination is c/o James Avery. I am loving the blue stone and the stacking of these rings together.
