Why Leopard is the Perfect Neutral

A couple of weeks ago, I shared another way to style leopard print. But, today, I wanted to talk about why leopard print is the perfect neutral piece, if done right. I have said this before, but you can easily style leopard print for multiple different looks and it doesn’t have to be a shirt or pants. It can be a small pop of leopard with a bag, belt or a pair of heels. And it will take your look to the next level.

Reasons that leopard print is the perfect neutral for Fall:

1. Pair it with both black or brown – This look is a perfect example. I paired this leopard print top (under $20) with both brown and black. I am a firm believer that black and brown are a perfect match. Don’t be afraid to give it a try. I know you will love it!

2. Don’t over do it – All you need is one leopard piece in your outfit. If you aren’t a fan of this top then try a bag, belt or pair of heels. This is a great way to incorporate leopard without feeling like you are “too loud” or “over the top”.

3. Find the right piece for you – I always say that if you are going to try a trend find the right piece that will fit your closet and that you will actually wear. There have been many times where I have purchased an item because it was “trendy” and only ended up wearing it once. The reason I picked this top was because I knew I could wear it to the office and dress it down with jeans.

Do you love leopard or wish it would go away?
