Happy Wednesday! Since today we are talking date night spots, I also wanted to share a date night look with you all. This top screams date night to me. The whole look is subtly sexy and really comfortable. All things I like when choosing an outfit for date night. Would you believe me if I sad that this top was only $14? A total steal and the quality is really good on this one. I am sometimes unsure when I get things from Shein, but this one is definitely a great piece and I know I’ll wear it again!
This look wouldn’t be complete without cute accessories! I styled this look with one of my favorite necklaces from Sugarfix and stack-able rings from James Avery (a more recent addition). I only wear my wedding ring and bands, but so glad I added these stack-able rings to my jewelry collection. I can easily wear them on their own or pair them with some of my other rings like this monogrammed one.
I don’t know about you, but date night is my favorite night of the week! Brian is finally done with work for the week (he works so hard and long hours) and we just get to spend some quality time together. That is why I decided to put together this list of some of my favorite spots in Dallas for date night. We are pretty habitual when it comes to date night, and stick to our favorites. You can find us either having dinner and a movie or going to a movie theater that also serves food. HA!
1. Louie’s Pizza || Located on Knox/Henderson
This was one of Brian and I’s first date spots. It is a complete dive bar, but the food is so good! We suggest trying the pizza and you have to get the Coconut Chess Pie…it is out of this world good. I suggest getting here early because it tends to get busy the later you go.
2. Alamo Drafthouse || Located in Dallas, Richardson, & Lake Highlands
Brian and I’s current favorite spot for date night! We love watching a movie and eating. Two of our favorite things…I mean what’s better than that?! I love the Alamo Drafthouse too because the ticket prices are cheaper than your normal AMC theater. And they have some great options on the menu. Even if you aren’t in the mood for a full on meal they have great desserts and your traditional movie theater items as well. In addition, they serve alcohol. Overall, a great spot for a date.
3. Mercat Bistro || Located in Harwood District
If we are feeling extra fancy, which isn’t THAT often we will head to Mercat Bistro. It is in the Harwood district and such a picturesque spot. They also have a delicious brunch menu. Plus, it was named one of Dallas’ Top 100 Restaurants.
4. Digg’s Taco Shop || Located in Lake Highlands & Highland Park
I can’t have a date night list without my favorite taco shop. We eat at Digg’s probably more times then I’d like to admit, but it is one of our favorite spots to grab a meal before the movies. Their tacos and guacamole are perfection. I like to think of myself as a taco connoisseur of sorts, and right now this is my favorite. I am dying to try Taco Heads too. I’ve heard good things!
5. HG. Supply Co. || Located in Dallas & Ft. Worth
This is a newer addition to our date night line-up. One night we had absolutely no idea where we wanted to eat for dinner, so Brian suggested a new spot on lower Greenville. So, we went down there, but once we walked up there was no one inside. We are the type of people that if there isn’t anyone there it’s probably not that good, so we decided to walk next door to try HG. Supply. I am so glad we did. I had heard good things about it, but never actually eaten there. The rooftop bar is stunning at night (you can see downtown) and the food is very yummy! I suggest trying their bowls or salads. Honestly, everything I’ve tried here I have loved.
