Blue & Red Floral Dress

Happy spring! Officially, it was yesterday, but I am a day late over here! This dress, I am sharing today, will be perfect for spring and right on into summer! I am totally into the pattern mixing in this dress too! Polka dots and floral…a winning combination. I also think this dress would be perfect for the 4th of July…which is still a long ways away, but hey why not grab it now.

The weather in Dallas is heating up. We have already had a couple of days in the 80s! I would say I am excited, but I wish the cooler weather (60s-70s) would stick around just a little bit longer. When the Texas heat hits it doesn’t let up until mid September or even October!

Brian and I went to Pilot Point this past weekend to see the Texas Tulips. I have been seeing them everywhere on Instagram, so I wanted to go check it out for myself. I didn’t realize how popular this place was going to be. Honestly, I would recommend going during the week, because it is a little too busy during the weekend. There was about a 2-3 mile long line just to enter the field! Luckily, Brian took a couple of wrong turns along our journey out there and we wound up being towards the front of the line. The field of tulips, itself, was beautiful and worth the trip out there. We took several photos and just enjoyed walking around, looking at all the variations and colors of tulips.
