I am back with another installment of ‘Beauty Buys‘ for the month of March. I am really enjoying sharing all the products that I have added to my makeup bag for the month. Please keep in mind that some of these items were sent to me while others were purchased. As always, I give my honest feedback on each product I review.
This palette has quickly become one of my favorites. I have had the Naked Smokey palette and Naked Basics palette (my all time favorite) for a while now and never thought about this palette until Urban Decay kindly sent it over in a PR package. I was very surprised by how much I fell in love with all the colors. I am normally a matte girl when it comes to eye shadow, but really love all the satin and shimmer shades this palette offers. You can literally create any sort of eye look with this palette. There is no need to pack anything else in your makeup bag when you have this baby. Some of my go-to shades are Virgin (inner corner and eyebrow highlight), Sidecar (all over lid color) and Buck (crease).
This is another product that Urban Decay kindly sent over. There were several “nude” shades included in this package, but “backtalk” is my favorite out of all of them. It is the perfect “nude” pink shade for my skin tone. I always gravitate these sort of shades. It is a matte formula, but doesn’t feel too dry on the lips. It also stays in place after eating a drinking.
I am so in love with this concealer. I haven’t tried a different concealer in quite a while and was so happy to find another one I liked so much. It has great coverage and doesn’t crease under my eyes. It also covers my dark circles very well. I went for the shade CW 03 and it seems to be the perfect match for my skin.
I add this after my primer all over my skin in order to create a natural dewy finish. You can also add this after your foundation as a highlight to the high points of your face. But, I really prefer it as an all over glow. It is the perfect product for spring/summer. I mean who doesn’t want a natural looking glow during this time of year?!
I can’t live without highlighter these days and I love that L’Oreal came out with an affordable option. My favorite out of the palettes they sent was Moon Kissed. This isn’t going to be your blinding highlight palette, but more of a natural glow.
This is a great sheet mask. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and moisturized. The best part about this mask is that you only leave it on the skin for 5 minutes. Making it the perfect mask for travel or if you are in a hurry.
You might be thinking…”a lip mask? Are you for real?”…and yes I am. These are so great for when your lips are just too dry (after a long flight) and chapstick won’t do the trick. My husband always laughs when I put one of these on. But, they really work and instantly hydrate the lips.
