If you have been following along for the past couple of months then you know that I have gotten back into a weekly workout routine. And with that routine comes the need of new workout gear. I have been adding several new pieces to my closet lately. Some of which are my new go-to items. I wanted to share those pieces with you all in case you are in the same boat and need some new pieces in your workout collection.
Sports Bra – This is definitely the first item I always pick up when shopping for new workout gear. A good sports bra is a necessity when working out whether you are doing a low-impact or high-impact workout. I have tested out several different types of sports bras over the years. Some of my favorites are the Free to Be Bra (Lululemon), Body Flex Bra (Zella), and GiGi Bra (Athleta). Keep in my that I have a smaller chest, so some of these might not work if your girls are bigger than mine!

Tank – 99% of the time I am wearing a tank to work out. There is the occasion where I wear a tee, but I feel most comfortable in a good tank. This one (above) is a new addition. It is a 2-in-1 with a build in sports bra and I love it. It was a good price too at under $25.
Pullover / Hoodie – I always wear a lightweight hoodie or zip up hoodie over my workout gear (seen here). They can easily transition into a look for a quick bite to eat with friends or running errands. You will find me rocking a zip-up hoodie on most weekends.

Leggings – I have to say out of all these pieces leggings are my favorite to buy. There are so many fun prints and patterns out there these days. One of my favorite brands as of late besides Lululemon is Zella. They make great leggings for an affordable price. I have been finding a lot of my workout leggings at Nordstrom Rack for half of the regular price. These leggings that are shown here I picked up from Nordstrom Rack. At first I wasn’t so sure I would like them, but I haven’t really taken them off since putting them on!
Workout / Athleisure Shoes – You have to have a good pair of shoes for your workout. Now, I am a huge fan of workout shoes, not just for working out, but for running around town too. I have several pairs and I just added this pair to my cart this past week. I think I have about 5-7 that I rotate through on a weekly basis.
