I originally tried to pick this top up during the Nordstrom sale, but missed the opportunity. So, when I saw it went on sale I immediately added it to my cart. Unfortunately, it sold out very quickly again, but I found an almost identical option that I like just as much here. I have also worn this top to work. It is great for both work and play!
LIFE + BLOG UPDATE:
1. I am participating in a style challenge for the month of October. I won’t be buying any new pieces for my closet. Unless they are from brands of course — which as of right now I have a couple of collaborations. I also just purchased the last couple of items before the month of October begins. ? I will be showing you how to re-style some of the items that I have had in my closet for a while. Hopefully, this will inspire you to do the same. I think I tend to get in the mindset that I “don’t have anything to wear”, so I just go to the mall to buy something. When in reality I have a closet FULL of clothes that I don’t wear as much. If you are interested in participating in this challenge with me and a couple other blogger babes then join our Facebook group. There isn’t any pressure for you to not spend, we are just trying to inspire you to re-style items you just got or have had for a while. There will be daily prompts for you to join in on and we will even have a hashtag. 2. I have been truly slacking when it comes to working out lately (blog post about this coming soon). I decided this month that I am getting my gym membership back and going to get back in shape. I have been feeling quite down about myself lately, and I am hoping working out on a consistent basis will help!
3. Brian and I are headed out of town this weekend. He sweetly asked me last week if he could take me out of town for a couple of days. We are headed to my in-laws house in East Texas for the weekend before they return from California. So, it will just be the two of us! I am excited to get out of Dallas to relax!
