I have recently been trying out a new (to me) skincare brand. I love testing out new products and sharing my thoughts with you. And as a self-proclaimed beauty junkie, I think it is my duty to share the products I am currently loving.
Willing Beauty contacted me to try out their skincare range. I was excited to give it a try because I have never heard of the brand before and you know I love my skincare regime. They kindly sent over the HY+5 Complex that is an age-defing regimen and is designed to defend against environmental aggressors that your skin faces daily (UVA/UVB rays, pollution, a harsh climate) that can lead to wrinkles, and discoloration. It also replenishes and restores your complexion with vital moisture, nutrients and antioxidants to fulfill your skin. Making it look more youthful, healthy and radiant. Plus, it is free of harsh chemicals, toxins, parabens and synthetic fragrance.
I was excited to take the HY+5 challenge and share it with you all. Keep reading to find out how I liked these products.
Let’s talk price…this whole regime costs $138.00. In my opinion a really fair price for 5 full size products. You get a lot of product in each one and this set could last quite a while.
I used this regime on a consistent basis for the past month, so it is safe to say I have given these products a good test run. I was surprised that there was no make-up remover included in this regime, but no biggie because I just stuck to my favorite Colleen Rothschild Cleansing Balm.
One of my favorite things about these products is the smell. Which is usually what turns me away from a product. But, with this one it made me like it even more. It is a very light, but fresh smelling scent.
Now, let’s talk about the products:
DO OVER NOURISHING CLEANSER $18.00
I used this product after I removed my makeup with the Colleen Rothschild Cleansing Balm to make sure I got rid of all the dirt and oil on my skin. It left my skin feeling extra clean and ready for moisturizer.
DAYDREAM ILLUMINATING DAY MOISTURIZER $24.00
After cleansing my skin in the morning, I used the illuminating moisturizer. This product left my skin feeling moisturized, soft and smoother.
GET SET SPF 30 TINTED PRIMER $24.00
One of my favorite products from the group. I used this everyday with or without makeup over top. I felt like it gave my skin just enough coverage to make me feel comfortable to go without makeup. I also love that it protected my skin from sun damage.
PARTNER IN TIME AGE DEFYING NIGHT SERUM $42.00
Another one of my favorites from the group. I used this at night before the night cream. I love a good night serum in my routine and this one is supposed to improve the elasticity of your skin and diminish the appearance of fine lines. When I wake up in the morning, my skin does look more radiant and refreshed!
SLEEPOVER REPLENISHING NIGHT CREAM $30.00
After applying the night serum to my face, I use this night cream. I love how this glides onto the skin, leaving mu skin ultra hydrated. After I apply this cream my skin immediately feels smoother. This product also has age-defying antioxidants and brightening fruit acids to encourage cell turn over and stimulation of collagen.
Overall, I highly recommend giving this regime a shot. It has been one of my favorites that I have tried lately. It is missing a couple of products in it, but what it lacks it makes up for by being a great regime. If you are in the market for a new skincare regime, this one is for you!
