Thank you Curves International for sponsoring this post. Ready to get #CurvesStrong?

ABOUT CURVES:

As I mentioned in last week's post I am trying to get back into working out again. I truly go through phases with working out consistently. I have been feeling really lazy and unproductive lately and I think a lot of that has to do with me not working out. That is why I was so excited when I got invited to Curves® 25th Anniversary party. It is hard to believe that they have been around for that long! I haven't ever been to a Curves before, so I was interested in giving it a try.

Let me preface this by saying, I was a little hesitant because I didn't know if this workout would fit  for me or even a hard enough workout. I was totally off! It was a great workout and I felt really good afterwards. The workout only lasts 30 minutes, is fast paced and works your whole body. You feel like you are getting a good workout. This workout is ideal for those of us who can't commit an hour or even 2 hours to a workout. I am going to give Curves a chance for 1 month to see how it makes me feel. The only downside to this is that it is so far from my house.

ABOUT THE WORKOUT:

Curves Circuit is a series of hydraulic strength-training machines designed to work every major muscle group for a total body workout in 30 minutes. During the workout the coaches guide you between time on the machines, interval of cardio moves, body weight exercises and stretching. Participating in this gym allows you to have access to digital coaching that helps you stay on track with customized instant feedback, motivation, suggestions for increasing intensity - plus progress reports.

SPECIALTY CLASSES:

They also offer 4 specialty classes which include:

BODY BASICS - Lower intensity body weight class based class focused on maintaining effort and heart rate on circuit using strength based functional movements that emphasize the arms, core, and legs.

BALANCE - Lower intensity class designed to help improve stability and create a strong core.

BOXING - Higher intensity class that combines cardio, strength, coordination, and balance.

CARDIO - Higher intensity class that uses challenging moves to pump up the heart rate in between the machines.
