3 Ways to Relax & De-Stress

6:38:00 AM

Lately, I have been in a blogging rut. It has been a little harder to crank out blog posts than normal and with all this insta-craziness it has been hard to deal. I always want to be creating new and exciting content, but I have just being feeling a little stressed about it. I think it is because I try to create at least 5 posts a week and that can be a challenge (a fun one) sometimes. I am always looking for new ways to create better content that you all enjoy reading. We are our worst critics right?

Side Note: I am an introvert, who struggles with anxiety too, and it can be pretty hard sometimes when I get invited to special events where I have to meet a lot of people. I have been so busy lately, with after work activities that I think this might have to do with my stress level. I notice when I don't get 'me time' (at least an hour or two) after work that I seem to be a little more on edge. Don't get me wrong I love being invited to these fun events and know that I am very blessed to have this opportunity, but it can be a lot for a person like me.

Stress happens to us all no matter what, whether it be work, personal or family related. With all that being said I thought I would share some of my favorite ways to de-stress and relax after a tough day.

3 WAYS TO RELAX & DE-STRESS

1. Take a bath - This seems to always make me feel better. I make sure I have extra time too, to just relax in the bath tub. No noise or distractions for at least 15-30 minutes to refresh my mind. I like to add bubbles or a nice lush bath bomb to make my bath a little more relaxing.

2. Put the phone down and get outside - When I just can't handle things, I usually ask my husband to go on a walk with me. I don't bring my phone, so there aren't any distractions and I can just focus on spending time with him. Talking to him always seems to help, because he gives me a different perspective than my own. Sometimes, it can be hard coming up with solutions or ideas on your own and he seems to always have an idea. He even helps me come with blog ideas.

3. Get a sweet treat - This always helps! I love getting a candy bar, cupcake or a drink from Starbucks. It always seems to put me in a better mood. I mean what's better than treating yourself!

Feel free to share some of your favorite ways to relax or de-stress below! As always, thank you so much for reading and taking a little time out of your day to visit BEB. It really means a lot to me and I wouldn't have the opportunities I have without you all reading! 💕 xo, Nataly

You know when you find a top and it just meant to go home with you?! 😂 This plaid top was meant to find me and my closet! And you are in luck it is currently 40% off. It is true to size. I am wearing a size XS for reference.

I paired it with white denim for the ultimate summer look. I have been wearing my white jeans so much lately (seen here, here and here), that it might be time for a pair of white shorts. I just threw away an old pair and realized I don't have any other white shorts. Any suggestions on where I can find a good pair?

We just booked our beach trip yesterday! Now, if the trip could just hurry up and get here, that would be great. We are headed to California. I haven't been to California in quite a long time, so I am eager to get back there. We are visiting Carmel, CA. Any suggestions you might have on places to eat, see or do let me know!

Thank you so much for reading! xo, Nataly
