2017 Workout Goals

6:53:00 AM

To be honest, I really don't like going to the gym or working out. I am sure like most of you out there, it is hard for me to stick to a solid routine. But, I find that setting goals for myself each year helps. My workout routine right now consists of Pilates once or twice a week and lifting weights at least twice a week. I am not looking to lose weight I just want to maintain a healthier lifestyle. Do you all have any helpful ways to keep motivated?

WALK MORE

I have a nice walking trail within in walking distance of my home. I need to utilize it more often. I am hoping to push myself to get out there at least twice a week. I am not a runner, but do enjoy a nice walk.

NEW WORKOUT CLOTHES

A huge motivator to me is workout gear. I love new workout clothes and I find that buying new items helps me get motivated to get back in my routine. My husband picked up this Adidas pullover for me a couple of weeks ago and I have been wearing it non-stop. It is the perfect top to wear over a tank or long sleeve. And it layers well under my vests!

EAT HEALTHY

I DO NOT and HAVE NOT ever tried consistently to eat healthy. I don't eat the too unhealthy, but I typically just eat whatever I want and don't pay much attention. As I have gotten older, I have noticed that this might not be the best idea. I am not going to try a diet or anything too drastic. I just want to make better choices when I am at the grocery store or restaurant.

Thank you so much for reading! xo, Nataly
