2017 Goals + White Fuzzy Sweater

HAPPY 2017! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday!

Every year I like to sit down and make a list of goals. I don't really like to call them resolutions because in my mind they are more like goals I would like to achieve during the year. I think this is a good way to approach the new year with a fresh outlook. It also helps me stay positive and think of ways to achieve the goals I am setting for myself. Most of my goals this year have to do with blogging and a couple personal.

This is the one goal that I need to focus on the most this year. Brian and I have been living in a condo for about 4 years now and we have drastically outgrown it. I am hoping we can save, save, save to buy a new place. I would be happy with a new house or town home.

My whole life, practically, is on the internet. I am always updating posts, writing, or scrolling through Instagram. I need to take some time each week and just unplug from social media. My husband has encouraged me to do this because he feels like I am always on my phone. I feel bad about it and hope that I can make this a priority this year. I don't need to be on my phone as much as I am right now. While I do enjoy posting and interacting on social media it shouldn't consume my life.

This is a big one. I am constantly purchasing and getting sent items. So, you can imagine that my closet is overflowing. I have to basically go through and clean out my closet on a monthly basis now. I usually donate my clothes to a local shelter or drop them in a clothing donation box.

I love to travel! And I would love to visit another new place this year. We are planning a couple of trips in state and one big trip out of state for Christmas next year. If you have any suggestions for fun places to visit let me know.

Now let's talk about this outfit, I loved this sweater from the moment I spotted it on Zaful's website. I thought it would look cute with both jeans and skirts. I can even wear this over a dress. The sequin details are really well made and you can't go wrong with a little sparkle.

I paired it with this mixed media skirt {under $20} and my black booties for a more edgy vibe. I have literally not taken these boots off since I bought them at Target. I love the classic, yet edgy look that they give any outfit. They look great with skirts, dresses, pants, and leggings.

Thank you so much for stopping by. xo, Nataly
