Tips: Hydrate your Skin for Fall

7:08:00 AM

Fall and winter can be especially harsh on your skin. So, it is really important to keep it hydrated and feeling good. I always change up certain items in my skincare regime when the seasons change. During the cooler months I choose products that will help combat the harsh weather. I ditch the light creams and go for something a little thicker!

Do you have any helpful tips to hydrate the skin during the fall and winter? I would love to know!

Thank you for stopping by! xo, Nataly

Just a little reminder, I am in no way a beauty expert, but like to share what works for me and my skin! Hope this helps you when picking products.

Tip #1 - Switch out your regular body moisturizer for a body butter like this one. I found that switching this up helps keep your body hydrated and skin from feeling dry and cracked. Focus on areas like heels, knees and elbows those areas dry out the fastest.

side note: I purchased this body butter in Hawaii back in 2012 and have been purchasing it every since. My favorite body butter of all time! I also linked a couple old favorites below as well.

Tip# 2 - Add a day/night oil to your skin care regime. This helps lock in the hydration overnight and it keeps your skin looking fresh!

Tip #3 - Don't forget about your lips! I trade out my normal Burt's Bee's for a heavier lip balm and quite literally slather it all over my lips at night. Another one of my favorites besides the one shown here is the Dior Creme de Rose Lip Balm.
