Fashion X Dallas: Day 1: Style + Recap

7:18:00 AM

Happy Monday friends! I am excited to share with you a little recap of the Fashion X Dallas Event that I attended last week. I got a chance to go to all three nights. I will be recapping each day, along with what I wore, so let's start with the first night.

This was my first time attending a real fashion show! I was super excited and had high expectations! I was so happy after the show. It was so much fun and I loved seeing local based fashion designers along with some Project Runway stars show their work. All the designers did an amazing job and the designs were fantastic. My favorites of the night were Abi Ferrin and Benzario. Here are a couple shots of my favorite looks from the night.

I'll take this cape in every color please?!

As for what I wore, my aim for all three nights was to wear something a little out of my comfort zone. I really wanted to push myself to try some new pieces and I am really glad I did. I picked out these Knit Cropped Pants and thought they would be perfect. I paired them with a simple tank and lace-up heels. These pants are super comfortable too. I added this floral belt to give the look a little something extra.

I went with my normal size in these pants. However, keep in my that the waist has little to no stretch. I recommend going up a size in these.

Overall, the first night was a total success! Of course, I went with my blogger bestie (Kasey) and we had a blast. We made some new friends and talked to some local boss ladies! Stay tuned for tomorrow's look and recap.

Thank you for stopping by, xo.
