Lamb Burgers

  • 2 pounds ground lamb
  • 2 teaspoons Kosher Salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground pepper 
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • Goat Cheese
  • Pesto 
  • Smoked Gouda


**It is important to keep the lamb cold while working with it and the less you have to touch it the better.** 
  • Seperate ground lamb into 8 oz. portions. Very gently using your hands or a round metal form, shape into patty. 
  • Using your thumb or spoon make a slight depression in the center of patty. Next, dust on salt, pepper, garlic powder. 
  • Make girll hot. Spray the patties with Pam and place on the grill. 
  • Don't touch for 2 minutes. Spray other side of patty with Pam, flip and cooke for 2-3 more minutes. Remove and put in 350 degree oven for 5-6 minutes depending on how you like your meat cooked. 
  • Once, out of the oven let the them rest for 5 mins then cumble goat cheese, a spoon full of pesto, and a slice a smoked Gouda on top. 
  • Enjoy with or with out a bun!
