Strappy Back Striped Tee

Happy Monday y'all! We went out of town again this weekend to visit Brian's parents in East Texas. It was a weekend full of relaxing, which is exactly what the doctor ordered. I wasn't feeling too hot while we were there, so I am glad I was able to rest and of course work on blog related things.

This is the final look that we shot while we were on our trip in San Antonio {travel guide here}. This comfortable tee is going to be on repeat the rest of Spring and Summer! I love how easy it is to wear with both jeans and shorts. You can easily dress it up or down too!

A girl can't have enough casual tees like this one. I also love the details on the back it just makes it that much cuter. I wore a black bralette underneath. My favorite bralette that I have found is from Free People. They are comfortable and easy to pair with items like this one that has more of an open back. They come in a ton of colors and are only $20.

Floral Tunic + White Jeans

I have to say that ever since I posted that all white look last week {here}, I have been quite obsessed. If you aren't quite ready to embrace the total all white look, add a little color with floral.

This floral tunic is another piece from My Sister's Boutique. I was surprised by how much I loved this tunic when I received it. The colors are a lot more vibrant than shown online. I also think that this tunic would make a great beach cover-up if you are headed to the beach. I plan on pairing it with shorts too!

We are headed out of town again this weekend. This time we are visiting my in-laws in East Texas. Be sure to follow along on Instagram to see what I end up doing.

Happy Friday! Thank you so much for reading! xo, Nataly

Striped Lace Top

Happy Thursday y'all! It's almost the weekend and I can't wait! Work has been stressful this week with lots of deadlines and projects, so I am needing a break from it all.

This is another look I shot while I was in San Antonio. I wore this look to breakfast and then walking around downtown for a bit. This top is from a new, to me, online boutique called My Sister's Boutique. This online boutique has so many items to chose from and they are all so cute. Best part is that most of the items are under $50.

I have been after this top for a while and am so glad I was able to pick this one out. It is true to size [wearing a small] and flattering. I decided to pair it with my new favorite pair of shorts from the Loft. I shared this on Instagram, but these shorts are so flattering, not too short or long. Just what I have been looking for. I loved them so much after trying them on, I bought two pairs! 😍 I recommend these shorts if you haven't found the right pair yet. They are under $60 too!

Travel Guide: San Antonio

In celebration of our anniversary last week {see our anniversary post here}, Brian and I took a long weekend trip to San Antonio. It's been quite a while since I have visited SA and was excited to get out of Dallas for a bit. We stayed Downtown at the Doubletree and we enjoyed every minute of it.

He loves to plan out our whole trip and pack as many exciting things in as possible. Fun fact: he has never visited the Alamo, so that was a must see on our list. He loves history, so we made sure to hit all the historical landmarks that we could.

1. El Bucanero - We chose this place on recommendation from a friend of mine. She said they have the best Mexican Seafood and it DID NOT disappoint. You have to try the fish ceviche. It is large enough to have as your meal. I probably didn't even need to order the fish tacos! And after dinner stop by the churro truck outside.

2. The Magnolia Pancake Haus - This was another favorite meal from the weekend. The Magnolia Pancake Haus was on Diners Drive-ins and Dives, so we made sure to arrive early just in case there was a line. I went for the pancakes and they were some of the best I have ever had! Brian chose the Apfel Pfannekuchen which is a traditional German Apple pancake. I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast!

3. Schilo's- I chose this little German restaurant for lunch on Saturday. I am a huge fan of Kuby's in Dallas and wanted to see if this compared. I would say it did! I went for my favorite...turkey sandwich with German potato salad. Brian tried the Ruben and was really happy with it! This is such a cute little place for a quick meal.

Hari Mari Flip Flops

4. Mr. Ice Cream - What's a vacation without a little sweet treat?! We tried Mr. Ice Cream after dinner on Saturday night. It was really good! Be aware that they only accept cash here.

We stayed downtown at the Doubletree. We wanted to be closest to the Riverwalk and all the activities down there. We didn't stay right next to the Riverwalk, but on the other side of the highway actually. Next time, I think we would prefer to stay right in the heart of downtown. It is relatively easy to walk everywhere from the hotel. If you decide to stay somewhere else, be aware that they charge for parking anywhere near downtown. We paid $10 for parking for the whole day.

Air BNB and VRBO are always good options too if you have a larger party to accommodate or just want your own private place to stay.

1. San Marcos Outlets - On the way down to San Antonio I made it my mission to stop at the outlets. San Marcos has the nicest ones and I wanted to make the most out of it. They have everything from high end to low end shops. They even have a Lululemon Outlet. Which was a total surprise!

2. Alamo - This was a must-do on our list. It had been such a long time since I had seen the Alamo and Brian had never been. It is a lot smaller than I remember. But, none-the-less it is still exciting to see and learn all the history.

3. San Antonio Riverwalk - We hung out on the Riverwalk the majority of Saturday morning, afternoon and evening. There is a lot to see, shop and eat. If you are big into souvenirs then there are a ton of options in this area. Side note: I collect magnets from all the places we visit when we travel for our fridge. It is a fun way to keep all the memories from your trips in one spot.

Brian really wanted to go to Ripley's Believe It or Not. I indulged him and it was actually kind of fun! I have never been to anything like that before and was pleasantly surprised. I wouldn't recommend the wax museum. It didn't get very good reviews online.

There is also a Riverboat tour that you can go on. We were going to do this, but ended up changing our minds at the last minute. I wish we would have done it. It looked like so much fun!

On our way back home we decided to drive through Fredricksburg. We wanted to stop there for lunch and do a little shopping. It was only a 45 minute drive from San Antonio through the Hill Country. I am really glad we decided to make the extra drive to visit. We stopped and ate at another German Restaurant in town called Auslander Biergarten Restaurant. The highlight of our meal here were the fried mushrooms. Yum!

Floral Off the Shoulder Dress

I picked up this floral dress especially for our trip to San Antonio [more on that tomorrow]. I thought it would be perfect for date night and comfortable. It was considerably warmer is SA than Dallas, so I knew I needed to pack some breezy options. And as I have said [in this post] off the shoulder is my favorite for date night.

I paired it with my super comfortable wedges from Steve Madden and a pink clutch for a pop of color. I loved this outfit and received several compliments. This dress is also super affordable at under $30! If you are headed on vacation or to the beach, this dress needs to be in your suitcase.

Thank you so much for stopping by! xo, Nataly
