Polka Dots + Ripped Denim

There is nothing quite like an essential button down blouse in your closet. I have this exact top in several different colors and prints. It is a staple in my closet. And at under $25, it should be a staple in yours too! I would say the fit is true to size {wearing an XS}. It is a little bit oversized, so it gives the ultimate relaxed/off duty vibe.

This blouse can easily be dressed up for work or dressed down for a night out with friends. I paired it with some boyfriend style distressed denim and mules. My mules are currently on sale for $40!

My mom was in town yesterday, for the day. She was nominated for a teaching award by a former student of hers. We attended the reception and spent all day together. It was really special because I don't get to see my mom that often, so I was excited to have her in town even just for the day.

Hope you all have a great Friday! Thank you for reading! xo, Nataly

How I Manage Blogging + Working Full Time

Working full time and blogging is a struggle sometimes. But, honestly, I love it so much I wouldn't have it any other way. I get this question most often when chatting with other bloggers, friends and family..."How in the world do you blog 5 days a week and work a full time job?" Well, I am here to say it isn't as hard as it sounds. It is quite a bit of work outside of your 9-5, but here is how I make it work for me.

1. GET ORGANIZED - This is key to staying productive. I can't function correctly if I am unorganized. I have to plan out my posts at least a week in advance. Leaving a little bit of wiggle room if something important comes up. I keep all my posts, Instagrams and important blogging events organized in my Erin Condren. This planner has been a life saver for me.

2. MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR TIME - I have talked about this before, but I get off work relatively early, so I like to come home and work on blog related items. I spend at least 1-2 hrs on BEB a night. I try my best to get all my work done before my husband walks in the door. That way I can focus my attention on him. This is the hardest for me, I am a workaholic when it comes to this blog.

3. WRITE YOUR POSTS IN ADVANCE - Each week I sit down with my planner and laptop to plan out my posts for the week. I also go through add photos and write my posts. I find this is the easiest way for me to get all my work done for the week. That way I am not scrambling the night before trying to write a post. I am not a last minute type of gal! On the day before the post is going to go live I go back to the post, re-write anything I think needs changing, add some personal notes and add all my links.

It can be hard writing posts 5 times a week. There are weeks when I open up my post and have no idea what to write or say. In this case, I usually look to Pinterest and Instagram, just for some inspiration. Keep in mind...I don't mean copying or using any one else work. I just merely scroll through until something comes to mind. Which tends to happen quickly for me. If that doesn't work I write a more personal post with things that are happening in my life. That seems to get the creative juices flowing.

Now, let's talk about this outfit. I have been on quite a black and white kick lately. I picked up this top specifically for work, but decided to pair it with white jeans and black mules for a more casual look. It is safe to say this look will be on repeat!

I received this bag in the mail from Hazlmay last week and have been carrying it ever since. You all know I am a handbag lover, so I couldn't possible pass up this cute little tote. It is a great neutral bag and I love the knotted details at the bottom. It is a vegan leather bag. It is really nice quality for the price and not being real leather. I was really surprised by how much I loved the style too.

You can receive 20% off your Hazlmay bag purchase with the code: NATALY20 at checkout. {this code is only available for 1 month April 20th, 2017- May 20th, 2017}

Lash Extensions Q & A + My Experience

If you have been following along on Instagram Stories, then you know that I have been talking quite a bit about my lashes. More recently, I got extensions for the second time and wanted to share a little bit about my experience as well as some questions I have received.

I get my lashes done at Amazing Lash in Garland. If you live in the area I highly recommend booking an appointment with Tyi. She can do a full set of lashes in about 50 minutes. It makes for an easy first time experience if you go to someone who can get you in an out fast.

Lash extensions have been a life saver when it comes to my morning makeup routine. I don't have to apply mascara or eyeliner, so basically my makeup routine consists of foundation, concealer and brows! I also feel like I look totally put together without any makeup at all too. And I typically don't wear any when I have extensions.

It can take anywhere from 1-2 hours to get a full set applied. But, it all depends on the style you want.

They do not damage your lashes at all. After, the first time I got them done, I let all my extensions naturally fall out and my real lashes were left underneath. They looked the exact same as they did before lash extensions.

It is not painful at all. I would say if anything a little uncomfortable at first, but once you get used to it, it goes by so fast you don't even notice.

At first, I was a little scared. I don't like anyone really touching my eyes, so this took a little getting used to. But, my second time I was a lot more laid back and it was a lot faster experience. Make sure you wear something you are comfortable in because you are laying down for a while.

The price ranges from $79.99-$89.99 for a full set. It is expensive, but seriously saves me so much time in the morning. It makes it worth it in the long run.

At first I just thought, natural was the way to go. But, after chatting with my most recent tech she suggested a fuller style for my eye shape. I have to say I like the way it looks a lot better. I think chatting with the tech to get their opinion helps when trying to chose the style for you.

When I have extensions I feel like I don't even need makeup at all. But, when I do wear makeup I don't wear mascara. They do say that you can wear light mascara on the tips of the lashes, but I personally haven't tried that before. I try to do as little to them as possible. This is totally a personal preference, but the less you do to them, the longer they last.

I just do my normal routine, but take extra care around my eyes. I don't use any oil based skin care products. I make sure to brush out my lashes every night and morning. This really helps keep them looking good.

This post is in collaboration with Amazing Lash Dallas who provided my lash extensions. All opinions expressed are geniuely my own.

My Go-To Work Wear Look

I am a creature of habit when it comes to work wear. I find a look I like and tend to stick to it. I think it might have to do with all those years of private school and wearing a uniform. You all have seen me wear a similar look to this one before, but I wanted to share why I love it so much!

In the Spring and Summer in Texas the weather is hot! While, my office is really cold. I like to wear something that will not only keep me warm in the office, but will keep me cool while I am walking from meeting to meeting outdoors. This skirt + tank combo is the perfect option for me for the office. And can easily take me to happy hour or date night after work.

Like, I've mentioned before, my office attire ranges from business casual to really casual. It just depends on what I have going on that day at the office. I think whether you have a desk job or a stay at home job, this look would be a great option for you.

I picked up this green skirt {under $20} while on my trip to Colorado. I immediately fell in love with the color and the pleated details at the top! I decided to keep it pretty simple up top with just a white tank and jean jacket. I have been wearing these mules from DSW non-stop since I picked them up. I mean what's not to love about them. They go with everything and are super easy to walk in. They fit true to size and are a great price at under $60!

Favorite Lip Colors For Spring

I never considered my self a fan of lipsticks or lip glosses until more recently. Now, I can't seem to purchase enough. Around this time of year I like to switch out my deeper shades for some brighter more "spring like" shades. Today, I wanted to share some of my favorites. A couple of these are newer, while some shades I have had in for a while.

AVON TRUE COLOR NOURSHING LIPSTICK in Cherry Blossom + Playful Rose - These were sent to me a while ago as a part of their new launch. I have to say this is my favorite formula of lipstick right now. It is nourishing {as the name suggests} and is relatively long lasting. The two shades that I have been reaching for the most are Cherry Blossom and Playful Rose.

BITE BEAUTY MULTISTICK in Macron - Ever since I received this in the mail it has been one of my favorites. It is a multistick so it can be used on the cheeks too. But, I prefer to use it as a lipstick. It is really close to the color of my lips, and lasts quite a while. It is a matte formula, but doesn't seem to dry out my lips like others I have tried.

NARS LIP GLOSS in Turkish Delight - This is an all time favorite lip gloss of mine. It is a great color for any skin tone and is an easy go-to. I like to carry this one in my purse, because it is easy to apply on the go.

NYX LIP GLOSS in Dolly Pink - This is one of the brightest pinks in my collection. It is a great shade for both Spring and Summer.
