Pink Ruffled Cold Shoulder Top

I love this bright pink ruffled top! Like I said in,Wednesday's post, I have been adding a couple of new pink pieces to my closet. This top being one of them. It comes in a couple of other colors too, but when I saw the bright pink I knew I needed to grab it. It does fit a little big on me, wearing a size xs, so if you are in between sizes I recommend going down a size. I paired it with my white denim and black block heeled sandals for an effortless, but chic look.

I hope you all have a great weekend! I am headed to Ft. Worth tomorrow with Kasey for a fun-filled day of shopping. She is taking over Sundance Squares' Instagram. So, be sure to follow along on Instagram Stories to see the behind the scenes. I am having brunch with another blogger babe, Lauren from Labeled by Lauren on Sunday. I haven't seen her in a while, so I am looking forward to catching up a bit.

Thank you so much for stopping by! xo, Nataly

Transitioning your Style from Summer to Fall

Fall is quickly approaching! Which is very scary! Before you know it I will be sharing my Christmas Gift Guides. SO. NOT. READY.  Here, in Dallas, it will be hot for at least another month or more. So, even though it doesn't feel like it, I like to start incorporating more fall items into my summer wardrobe.

When thinking about the transition into fall, I immediately think booties and cardigans. So, an easy way to make your look feel more "fall like" without throwing on a chunky sweater, jeans and over the knee boots is to incorporate lighter pieces, that give you the fall feel, like this lightweight cardigan. I love a layered look anytime of year, but especially in fall. A cardigan like this one is an easy way to take your look from summer to more fall appropriate. And a closet staple like this one doesn't need to break the bank either. I pick up items like this from Target, and they last me at least a season or two. I decided to pair it with this floral lace cami. The deeper muted tones have me craving a caramel apple spice from Starbucks. #basic

Instead of jeans, I opted for denim shorts. And for shoes I went with wedge booties. These booties immediately make the outfit look more ideal for fall. {These booties are from last year, but I linked an identical pair below.}

Crochet Peasant Top

Happy Wednesday babes! Having a serious type A personality over here, when I noticed that one of my pant legs was rolled up I almost didn't even want to post these photos! I mean, seriously, my husband and I both didn't notice?! But, sometimes we aren't perfect and THAT IS OKAY! It is really hard for me to accept that, but I am slowly learning that not everything has to be perfect. We live a life online where it looks like everything is sunshine and rainbows all the time and the reality isn't! I try my best to be really transparent about my life, to an extent, and show you all the real side of me! The fun side, the one that doesn't always look put together 100% of the time. Because let's be real, I don't wake up in the morning and look anything like this. I wear minimal makeup and sometimes don't even do my hair.

I hope my personality shines through when I write these posts! I want them to feel like you are sitting down with your friend just chatting about life. I try to include little tid-bits of my weeks and weekends to make them feel more personal. Sometimes, this blog feels like a diary where I get to share the most exciting parts of my life with you all!

I picked up this top from Target and fell in love with it. I love the lace and crochet details. I usually don't gravitate towards this color, but I really love it looked when I tried it on. As you will see soon, I have been adding a couple of pink pieces to my closet. I decided to keep this look classic, by pairing it with my studded heels (under $60) and denim.

I am currently wearing this top for work and I love it. I paired it with simple black pants and flats. It is a great versatile piece for work or play.

Packing Tips with Lipault Paris

I pick out all my outfits for my travel ahead of time. I lay them all out and plan what I am going to wear with what. It makes it a whole lot easier when you arrive at your destination. You aren't rushing to try to figure out what tee to pair with your jeans. Or what shoes to wear. I am a planner by nature, so this comes natural. I also write down a list of what I want to pack, makes it a whole lot easier than standing in your closet for hours picking out items.

Neutrals are always a good idea, but especially when traveling. It is easy to pair a neutral tee like this striped one with both shorts and jeans.

Lipault Paris kindly sent over their Original Plume Spinner in Black for me to try out for my upcoming trip to California. I have to say it is one of the nicest pieces of luggage I have ever had. I went for the standard black, which might have been a mistake, because it will look like every other black roller bag out there, but I still love it! I like the soft outside design and that it is so large. Perfect for longer trips or if you like to pack with your significant other.

I also picked out the cutest rose gold backpack. I have been lusting after this backpack for quite sometime, and am so excited to have it. I will also be using this for my upcoming travel.

This one is a hard one for me. I like to be prepared for all circumstances when traveling, so I stick to the rule of one extra outfit and a couple extra pair of undies.

Since you are going to be packing mostly neutrals, grab some bolder accessories, like these mirrored sunnies or this leopard print scarf. They can easily take your look up a notch.

This post is in collaboration with Lipault Paris. All opinions and selections are geniuely my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that help make Beautifully Elegant successful.

Pinstriped Midi Dress

Happy Monday babes! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We didn't do a whole lot. I got a chance to tackle my ever-growing to-do list and had a date night at the movies. We saw Atomic Blonde, which I don't recommend. I didn't love it!

This pinstripe dress has been sitting in my "to shoot" pile for a while. I wasn't too keen on it at first. But, once I finally put it on to shoot I actually was really surprised by how much I liked it. I think this dress can easily be dressed up or down depending on what shoes you wear. I decided to dress it up with these pink heels. My only complaint with this dress is that it is a little tight around the arms. Other than that, I think it fits great -- it is a one size fits most.
